Nomenclature Type is an independent typography project created with the goal of proliferating quality, affordable typefaces. All typefaces are designed and developed by Alex Sweet with occasional collaborations with other designers. I keep a close eye on typographic trends, balancing the need for forward looking typography with classic principles in an effort to produce efficient, unique fonts that remain relevant.
Currently all retail typefaces are available open source and free to download. Many are still in beta, some are even missing glyphs; updates are published regularly and improvements are continually being made.
